The purpose of the roundtable is to seek SME support in tax reforms and modernization programs by:\ni. Fostering strong relations with SMEs\nii. Discerning and responding to SME needs\niii. Improving service delivery and supporting effective tax reforms and administration.\nThe objective of the Regional SME Tax Round Tables is to deliberate on matters of importance to SMEs, with a view of creating a tax environment that is friendly and facilitative for taxpayers, providing for increased compliance, reduced tax leakages and revenue growth.\n
