ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL PASSES FOR ESSENTIAL GOODS AND SERVICES
Dear Esteemed Member,
The dusk-to-dawn curfew across the country has affected normal business operations, including supply and provision of essential goods and services.

To help member businesses seamlessly provide critical and essential services during this period of coronavirus outbreak, the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) has engaged the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Enterprises Development to issue special serialized stickers and passes to businesses affiliated to the Chamber that are classified as essential services (see full list of essential services and products): Essential Services
Essential service providers will be expected to:
- Complete an online application form: Apply
- Have up-to-date membership status with the Chamber of Commerce
- Affix stickers and passes on the current mobile fleet, indicating the following details: car registration number, name of the driver, national ID number and company name
- Collect printed stickers from KNCCI Headquarters as will be communicated and in strict compliance with healthy measures issued by the Ministry of Health (MoH).
We continue to urge our members in essential services to adhere to directives issued by the government, including designating one (1) driver and a maximum of two (2) assistants for each cargo-carrying vehicle that crosses the four (5) counties that have been declared coronavirus infected
