The Chamber had an engagement with Bellafam Africa, a member of KNCCI. Bellafam Africa Limited is the first in Africa to fully venture into apitherapy, positioning it as a technological frontier in the beekeeping industry. In addition to its leadership in apitherapy, Bellafarm is advanced in the beekeeping equipment supply chain and actively involved in the off-take of bee products from farmers.

The company is progressing towards full capacity to handle a wide range of bee products, including honey, beeswax, propolis, bee pollen, bee venom, royal jelly, bee bread, beehive air, and apilarnil. They currently manage 800 beehives producing approximately 3 tonnes annually and export beeswax to Somalia, Ethiopia, and Georgia under the Certificate of Origin system.
