The KNCCI Jiinue Growth Program (JGP) conducted a Digital Literacy and Digital Marketing training for youth entrepreneurs from Nakuru County during the BizLink Trade Expo at the Rift Valley Sports Club.

KNCCI Head of Programs Daniel Biketi trained participants on the Five Pillars of Financial Literacy, equipping them with practical knowledge on saving, responsible borrowing, investment, risk management and financial planning.

M&E Specialist Ken Waliaula demonstrated digital marketing and market access through the iSOKO platform. During the session, several youth installed the app and began uploading their products and services.

The JGP team took particular interest in a young entrepreneur selling handmade Ankara bags and pouches, visiting her booth to assist her in enrolling on iSOKO and encouraging her to upload images of her products online.

The training also featured a technology demonstration by Mamza Engineering, who showcased AI-powered robots and Internet of Things (IoT) applications used in areas such as security and hazardous environments.

Mamza also runs a robotics training institute where young people learn to build robots and code instructions to control them, exposing youth to opportunities in robotics, automation and AI-driven innovation.

The session supports KNCCI’s push to integrate more young entrepreneurs into the digital economy.
