The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) has dispatched a high-level delegation to China to participate in a Standardisation and Intelligent Manufacturing Seminar. The 14-day intensive program will focus on cutting-edge advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and intelligent manufacturing, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to drive industrial transformation back home.
The delegation is led by KNCCI Siaya County Chair, Mr. Stephen Obewo, and includes Kajiado Chair Mr. Joseph Gipson, Mr. Kilonzo Mutiso, Mr. Mohamed Kubwa who are KNCCI County Chapter directors.
Throughout the training, the team will take part in specialized sessions designed to strengthen their understanding of international standardisation frameworks, smart production systems, and AI-driven manufacturing technologies.
This initiative underscores KNCCI’s commitment to aligning Kenyan industries with global quality standards, sustainable industrial growth, and the adoption of emerging technologies. By investing in such knowledge exchange, the Chamber seeks to position Kenya as a competitive player in the global manufacturing landscape while ensuring local enterprises are fully prepared for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
