Refocus on Sustainable Strategies to Address Rising Climate Change Challenges- Director Kitheka

Today, KNCCI Director Simeon Kitheka represented the Chamber at the on going Devolution Conference.

In his remarks he encouraged the Public policy makers, development partners and private sector players to refocus on the sustainable strategies that would address issues of ever rising climate change challenges.

He emphasized that institutions need to work together through harmonization of policies, educating the public and offering financial support.

The Director re-emphasized on investing in people and adoption of smart agriculture practices that would ensure food security and sustainable market systems in the country.

He further encouraged development partners to support the Devolution units to fight the drought currently being experienced across the Counties.
