The Chamber Vice President Mr. Mustafa Ramadhan hosted officials from Northern Corridor Transit and Transport Co-ordination Authority (NCTTCA) led by Chairman of Public Private Partnership, Mr. Stephen Ruzibiza. The NCTTCA provides a mechanism for facilitating transit trade to the landlocked countries through the port of Mombasa.

KNCCI can collaborate with the Northern Corridor Transit and Transport Authority (NCTTCA especially on verification of members, to achieve this KNCCI will appoint a focal contact person to take part in validating and verification of its members on the platform to ensure credibility and ease of transactions

This collaboration will also address various challenges faced by members while navigating the northern corridor

Recognizing the mutual areas of collaboration, both organizations concurred on the need to draft and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to fortify the collaboration and address the highlighted issues.

Mr. Mustafa Ramadhan emphasized KNCCI’s willingness and enthusiasm to collaborate closely with NCTTCA to increase trade along the Northern Corridor. Mr. Stephen Ruzibiza assured that NCTTCA is committed to addressing the highlighted challenges and envisions a successful partnership.
