The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) has signed an MoU with The Arab Contractors which is a company in Egypt that provides construction services such as building bridges , roads , tunnels , airports , railways , mining services ,electromechanical projects , engineering consultancy ,manufacturing and assembly of steel structures  and has been involved in many major projects in Egypt , all over Africa and Middle East.

This collaboration is promising and will bring several benefits to KNCCI members in the construction sector by;

  • Opening up new construction opportunities in Kenya, especially in the sectors of water, roads, housing, aviation, and ports.
  • Offering capacity building and technical support through Joint training programs which will enhance the skills and knowledge of professionals in the construction industry.
  • Providing market insights to identify potential areas of growth, anticipated challenges, and stay informed about emerging trends in the Kenyan construction landscape.

The MoU was signed  by The Chamber  President Dr. Erick Rutto and The Arab Contractors Chairman Mr. Ahmed Mostafa El Assar

This reflects a commitment to fostering cooperation between Kenya and Egypt in the construction sector, which can have positive impacts on both countries and the broader African and Middle Eastern regions.
