In a move to address pressing challenges across key industries, The Chamber President Dr. Erick Rutto, spearheaded a vital meeting with the Principal Secretary – State Department for Investment Promotion,Hon. Abubakar Hassan Abubakar .   This session saw the convergence of a broad spectrum of Private Sector Organizations, including the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM), SME Support Centre, Kenya Association of Private Hospitals (KAPH), Kenya International Freight & Warehousing Association (KIFWA), AA Kenya, Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), and the Kenya National Federation of Jua Kali Associations (KNFJKA). Together, they deliberated on devising actionable, timely interventions for challenges such as energy tariffs, tax regimes, funding durations, and regulatory hurdles, all within the framework of President William Ruto’s vision for economic rejuvenation.

These discussions emphasized the significant potential for employment expansion once these critical issues are effectively addressed. Hon. Abubakar Hassan Abubakar, detailed the steps towards authenticating these concerns through the National Validation Council, setting the stage for an impactful Presidential Roundtable in the near future.

KNCCI reaffirmed its dedication to champion the interests of the Private Sector during legislative deliberations on the suggested measures.
