The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce (KNCCI) today on 1st June, 2020 signed an MoU that will see to the piloting of SME incubation Hubs in all the KNCCI 47 County Chapters. The three-year Incubation program aims to support and facilitate SMEs have access to skills infrastructure, mentorship, supply and value chain, provide market linkages and financial support that will enable grow their businesses and products.
KNCCI and Homeboyz Foundation will provide the necessary training along with incubation (mentorship) and thus prepare youth and women in the essential concepts necessary to sustainably run a small to medium sized business or enterprise over time.
KNCCI is keen to promote growth and a sustainable SME sector. The hub will provide incubation services, acceleration assistance, and scale-up services to Small and Medium-sized companies in the counties
Present during the MoU signing were the Homeboyz Foundation Co- Founder and Chairman, Mr. Myke Rabar and KNCCI President Mr. Richard Ngatia.
Also witnessing the signing were KNCCI Second Vice President Fatma Elmaawy, KNCCI Director, Omar Sadiq, KNCCI Chief Operating Officer Mr. Nyangweso, Onesmus Masinde and Ms. Virginia Waruinge.
