In preparation for the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) 2021, that will take place in South Africa, the IATF organizers and partners have today held an official Kenya Roadshow to sensitize the government and private sector about the trade fair.

Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KNCCI) was represented by the Chamber 1st Vice President Dr. Erick Rutto who took part in a panel session on “Assessing Kenyan private sector readiness for African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) implementation.”

Dr. Erick Rutto emphasized on Chambers visibility in the 47 counties and the role it plays to uplift SMEs through programs, trade missions and link to financial institutions. He stated that the Intra-African Trade Fair 2021 will be of beneficial to KNCCI members in taping into Africa market.

Intra-African Trade Fair is an important event that aims at boosting trade in Africa. This event will bring together numerous professionals under one roof.

The 2021 IATF’s theme will focus on the newly -launched “Building Bridges for a successful AfCFTA “-which is a single market for goods and services across 55 countries aimed at boosting trade and investment.

This year’s trade fair will take place on 15th to 21st November ,2021 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal- South Africa.

There will be numerous engagements during the Trade Fair namely; Exhibition, Conference, Business to Business (B2B), Business to Government (B2G), Virtual interactive forum and Automotive Show.
