To better understand our members’ businesses and address their needs, this morning, the KNCCI Membership team paid a courtesy visit to New KCC .During this visit, we gained insights into their production processes and distribution methods.

New KCC is currently expanding its exports within the East African market and is seeking additional export opportunities through KNCCI’s  affiliations . In terms of advocacy, New KCC is requesting KNCCI’s support in advocating for a waiver of the convenience fees associated with single-use paybills by the government, aligning them with their competitors in the private sector.

The challenging business environment, characterized by numerous fees, particularly those related to inter-county movement and branding, needs to be addressed. KNCCI, in collaboration with the Council of Governors, is committed to working towards the simplification of these processes to facilitate smoother business operations.

New KCC expressed their gratitude to KNCCI for their consistent invitations to exhibition forums, which have provided valuable local exposure. They also expressed interest in participating in trade missions to explore new markets.

Notably, New KCC operates seven factories strategically located in Eldoret, Sotik, Nyahururu, Kitale, Miritini, and Kiganjo, making them well-positioned to collaborate with our county
