Today, the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KNCCI) took part in the Kakamega International Investment Conference’s Pre-Conference breakfast at MovenPick Hotel. This conference is geared towards propelling Kakamega County and the wider Western Region’s economic growth by tapping into investment prospects and sustainable development projects.

Dignitaries including H.E Hon Governor Fernandes Barasa, KNCCI National Director Mr. Ken Onditi,MBS and representatives from KAM, KenInvest, KCIC, and the National Government, emphasized on  the collective goal to bolster the investment landscape in Kakamega.

Mr. Onditi emphasized KNCCI’s role in promoting participation through sponsorship and exhibitions, while Governor Barasa acknowledged the collaborative effort in unveiling investment avenues across healthcare, agriculture, social development, and natural resources. He also pointed out Kakamega’s infrastructural advancements and green energy initiatives, inviting all to the main event on 19th March marking the commencement of conference registrations which  will go on for  four days until 22nd March.
