During a breakout session on Trade, Industry, Manufacturing, and Enterprise Development on the first day of the 2ndHoma Bay International Investment Conference , KNCCI CEO Mr. Patrick Nyangweso discussed strategies to boost Kenya’s export market, particularly through the value addition of key commodities such as pineapples and fish.

He emphasized the potential of exporting these enhanced goods to neighboring countries. Mr. Nyangweso also noted the critical role of digitization in modernizing business practices, citing successful examples like ISOKO. Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of initiatives aimed at business incubation and financial inclusion, specifically pointing out the contributions of the Mastercard Foundation in supporting women and youth entrepreneurs through financial assistance and skill development.
