The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), led by President Dr. Erick Rutto, Youth Director Malovi Antony and Director of Programmes Lucy Muchoki, had a meeting with The Global Impact Circle (GIC), represented by Co-Founders Mark Prihodko and Dr. Zeynep Alpan, together with Project Lead Francesco C. Ide.
The meeting focused on exploring potential partnership areas between GIC’s East Africa Skills Campus (EASC) initiative and KNCCI’s Chamber Business Academy, with discussions centred on industry-driven skills development, accredited training, youth empowerment, practical industry exposure, internships, employment pathways and opportunities for collaboration between the private sector and education partners.
GIC also expressed interest in participating in the upcoming African Commerce and Industry Summit (ACIS) in October, as an opportunity to further engage with KNCCI and explore broader partnership and collaboration opportunities.
Both parties expressed interest in advancing the partnership and identifying practical areas for joint implementation.
