H.E Amb. Ali Gholampour, the ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy in Kenya hosted a delegation of private sector from both Kenya and Iran. Led by the Chamber Vice President, Mr. Mustafa Ramadhan and H.E Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Khayatian, the Deputy President for Science and Technology, and the Head of Iran National Innovation Fund

This meeting involved private companies in the health and IT sectors from Kenya and Iran, with an objective of increasing trade between Kenya and Iran. The meeting was a networking session to connect businesses from the both countries.

The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Kenya, H.E Amb. Ali Gholampour welcomed the delegation present and noted that the cooperation between the Chamber and Iran Embassy has been of great value to the businesses and the enhancement of trade between of both economies.

The Chamber Vice President voiced KNCCI’s commitment to growing the private sector, and encouraged both countries to strengthen ties. He also mentioned the need to create incentives for knowledge based companies in Kenya.

H.E Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Khayatian, the Deputy President for Science and Technology, and the Head of Iran National Innovation Fund committed to support KNCCI in setting up the Chamber innovation hub, as this will enhance the cooperation between businesses from both countries.
