The China International Import Export (CIIE) Bureau led by the President Ning Feng paid a visit to KNCCI on Monday afternoon, to extend an invitation to its members to exhibit and participate in the Expo, held annually in the province of Shanghai.

The CIIE is the only expo that focuses on Imports into China’s enormous market, an Initiative to widen access to the world.

Representing KNCCI President, National Director Cynthia Kamau warmly received the delegation and took them through KNCCI’s mandate to grow Kenyan businesses through market linkages,trade promotion and networking : advantages of Kenya as a source market for quality goods and services in addition to it being a gateway into the wider East and Central Africa region.

The exhibition has 6 distinct areas that would be of interest to our exporters;

  2. Cultural products
  3. Manufacturing
  4. Medical equipment and pharmaceuticals
  5. Food and agricultural products

With 400,000 buyers nationwide from each province, industry and sector, and top government representatives from each province &county ensures the shortest time to close a deal.

CIIE representatives will facilitate the importation process for KNCCI exporters and marketing of businesses to the China market as they will have 3,200 media personnel at each session at the expo.

In the meeting, the KNCCI team comprised Avodemia Director and CEO Bodaplus Sandeep S.Radhia and Avodemia Misha Radia,KEMLEIC CEO Nick Ngahu ,Dr. Faith Ndiwa CEO Bazel and KNCCI technical teams.
