The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) Energy, Climate Change, and ESG Committee met with the leadership of Strathmore Business School to explore a strategic collaboration on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

Key areas of focus include:

  1. ESG Awareness & Training – Developing programs to enhance ESG knowledge and best practices.
  2. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) – Establishing a framework for long-term partnership.
  3. Research & Adaptation Initiatives – Driving innovation and policy alignment in ESG adoption.

Additionally, the meeting resolved to develop a dedicated ESG training program for the KNCCI board and select committees. A pilot sector within KNCCI will also be identified for ESG training, with the goal of scaling the initiative across multiple industries.
